Dali Inspired Ceramics

Back in ceramics class, one of our projects was to create something inspired by a famous artist. I chose the surrealist painter Salvador Dali. I wanted to make something that was a little unusual and slightly disturbing. Cups with mouths did the trick I think ;) I used a coil method to create the body of the cup and crafted mouth, teeth and tongue spoon by hand.

I used one as a pencil holder once and it made me gag, haha! How would you feel about drinking from these?
