Sweet Homeward Bound

I wish I could post more the past few days, but I haven't been doing too much shopping lately. I'm packing up and getting ready to move back down south, to stay with my Grandmother for awhile. My mom's mom and my dad's mom live right next door to each other which is really nice and I'm looking forward to spending time with both of them. My Granny and I are going to sew some vintage patterns also while I'm there, so I will definitely post those when I get around to them. Hello South here I come! :p

Strolling Through the Park One Day...

Since there hasn't really been anything exciting going on the past few days except for my car breaking down, I thought I would post some of the pictures John and I took last week when he was here visiting. My house is within walking distance of downtown Frankfort, which is a colorful, old-fashioned place to spend some time...well...forgetting about time. They have lots of events (like an amazing craft fair in the summer time) and the shop owners are so friendly; I'm sure they know most of their customers by name. Anyway, here's some photos; I wish I had taken more—especially of the buildings. Oh well; next time!

Everything is so colorful that even a picture in front of a random door looks nice! :P

I know it's hard to see in this picture, but John is standing in front of the "Old Frankfort Grainery" here, which is the landmark of the downtown area. You can see it from down the road and it's much taller than any other building around.

...and yet I attempted to anyway, (lol).

Oh Happy Day(s)!

Today, I thought I would share some photos of the awesome new lunchbox I bought while I was on vacation. I found it at a store called "Full Circle (Collectibles)" in Newnan, Georgia. My favorite part is the antenna handle! Apparently these are collectible and you can get them with other television shows like Betty Boop, I Love Lucy, and the Brady Bunch too.

Knee Deep in Adventure

Sorry it's been so long since I've posted! I took a vacation to see my family and one from my computer & internet too. Then when I got back I couldn't find the camera! But my fiance came in to visit and brought his Canon T2i, which is amazing. And yesterday gave us the perfect opportunity to use it, as the two of us took the train into the city. Below are some pictures we took while in the city, including our lunch at P.F. Changs, train ride, and my vintage finds. The vintage stores were absolutely amazing. We visited Knee Deep Vintage and Pilsen Vintage. I bought two dresses—one from each. I would have bought so much more if John had not been there to restrain me. It's probably a good thing that I don't live closer to these stores!! Anyway, we had a great time; going into the city is always an adventure.
