One thing I always look for is wooden hangers—I hope to eventually convert my whole closet and not have to use ugly plastic ones anymore :P I thought the Santa pin was adorable—I'm only sad I have to wait to Christmas to wear it. The earrings are pretty clever, since it seems as though they were handmade by attaching an earring piece to a sofa button! (plus, I really like the pattern). And finally, I had been on the lookout for some plastic bracelets; I was inspired by Solanah on her Vixen Vintage blog. They add some color and a playful modern flair to a vintage look.

Thrift Store Finds
So today I stopped by some thrift stores and found a bunch of things I thought I would share. I'm really excited about putting together outfits from some of the clothes I found.

Hi there, thanks for stopping by my blog. I always like hearing from Chicagoland bloggers. Do let me know if you come to the city soon, it would be fun to do a thrift/vintage meetup.
ReplyDeleteFun finds, it looks like one of your bracelets is Bakelite? I've actually thrifted in Frankfurt before when I was down there for an estate sale!
Thanks! I will definitely let you know next time I'm in the city. Though it seems we might run into each other even sooner at an estate sale! ;)
